Your argument is lost when you have the DESIRE to get beaten, or perhaps just the desire to catch it on camera, just because you think that violent acts give history credibility. No one was beaten in this video. Sensationalizing this scene is akin to a Fox News-like process with their own reporting on the other end of the spectrum.
I support Occupy with all my heart and soul. I firmly believe if this country is to be saved, it will only be a result of the people uniting at long last. But, in this video, while I understand the Occupiers' growing frustration (they've been lied to, beaten, pepper sprayed, jailed on high bails, all the while trying to remain "peaceful"). But I actually felt equally sorry for the cops in this video.
Good thing I'm not a cop. I would have run the cruiser through the barricade, sirens blaring. It's not ok to block the access of police, fire, or any emergency vehicle.
I saw no one getting beaten. I support Occupy but seriously, what I saw was cops using crowd control methods that are used all the time, and I saw people interfering with police business. Honestly, did you expect them to just give up on the arrest and not take the guy to jail just because you stood in their way and chanted? All you did was provoke them. I hate to defend the cops, but quite frankly they did nothing wrong.
I support occupy as a whole but I agree that this video doesn't do the movement any good. Why the inaccurate title? I wish that tall guy in the green handled himself more calmly. I think that would have been more powerful.
There's no beating shown here. I don't think that these inflammatory titles and posts are helping the movement nor its credibility. Pretty soon OLA is gonna be like the boy who cried wolf and no one will listen. We cant claim to have to integrity if we don't actually act with integrity.
I don't see anyone beaten. All I see are people shouting and cursing at cops. And I am a member of OLA and a friend of Kwazi's. I'm getting tired of these inflammatory titles of videos like the one where they said cops were injecting tear gas into a tent that covered arrestees today in Houston. Even the livestreamer said they were just inflating the ten. Folks, the situation is bad enough in this country. We don't have to exaggerate the injustices.

wish the person who posted this would change the title, as it is a misnomer and discredits our movement.

No one was beaten. The guy in the green did do a great job using his tiny girlfriend as a human shield. Way to go.

You need a lot more views than this if you're gonna chant "The Whole World is Watching!"
