@sickkat44 Probably all good improvements, remember you are looking at some old technology, some of the people restoring these left them like they were back in the day to keep them looking original...
Very interesting your channel! with good content in older engines. Because here in Brazil do not have old engines running. Congratulations on disclosure.
i'll show my virginity here... if there were fins on the flywheel spokes and the radiator was on the outside, would it stay cooler?

@leandrojwfolha Yes I guess they are not making any more of them. One of the reasons I am getting them on video... Have a great day!

The radiator is a great addition - nice old cast iron job too by the looks of it. Very nice sounding engine. Thanks for upload.

@Hanglands You are welcome. Some of the old engines had oil-filled radiators to cool in the northern climates, (before antifreeze).

Love your video's. We have attended the Portland Show the last 2yrs and hope to go back this year and purchase an oil engine while we are there..

I think the brass tags help but to me it is the overall condition of the engine, IMHO.

Is this running on butane or propane? A lot of the oilfileld engines out here run on butane because it is closer to natural gas in caloric content.

I think it is running on propane, I'll bet butane is better then.

that radiator is a good idea

Some of these guys put some thought into it. I like the one where the guy used the truck toolbox as a cooling tank.
