Right, since the style of postseason play has any bearing on the merit of one individual player.... Maybe it's because he isn't great in coverage, but is devastating when he can come up and defend the run. He was a pro bowler when Darren Woodson was playing along side him. And next year we will put in Gerald McCoy, Gresham and Bradford. And Blake Griffin, (not a football player) who was drafted #1 overall in this past year's NBA Draft. We may not produce as many pro athletes as the state of Florida, but we do produce a respectable amount of good ones.

Right, since the style of postseason play has any bearing on the merit of one individual player.... Maybe it's because he isn't great in coverage, but is devastating when he can come up and defend the run. He was a pro bowler when Darren Woodson was playing along side him. Also, the increased speed, size, and talent in the NFL may have played a part.

Florida State moved up and down all day against the miami defense and really should have won that game. Florida State got nothing going all day against the sooners. Miami was pretty overrated that year by people who think they shoul dhave been in the orange bowl.

If you want to play that card, lets not forget that FSU was completly shut out by OU while they easily moved up and down the field against miami and really should have won that game as well. How would you explain Miami Losing to washington? Miami also had a few close calls in the other regular season games while FSU was generally very dominating in theirs. The BCS has been a great alternative to the polls and they sure got it right by putting FSU in there.

Btw, OU has had more players drafted in the NFL all-time than Miami. You have more first-rounders, but that doesn't necessarily translate to how you've done all-time in college compared to us. There's also Jammal Brown who is an All-Pro left tackle for the Saints. Sadly, he's on IR this year. Curtis Lofton, a stud LB for Atlanta. And next year we will put in Gerald McCoy, Gresham and Bradford. And Blake Griffin, (not a football player) who was drafted #1 overall in this past year's NBA Draft. We may not produce as many pro athletes as the state of Florida, but we do produce a respectable amount of good ones.

The BCS is so lucky that Oklahoma won this game. I mean, Florida State never should have been in it. Miami, Oregon State, Virginia Tech, and Washington were all more legitimate then FSU was.

I totally agree. Oklahoma would have beaten Miami, VT, Oregeon state, and Washington. I 'm just saying that if Okalhoma had versed one of those 4 teams, it wouldn't ahve mattered who won the Orange Bowl. Either way, the BCS would ahve produced an undisputed NC. But with an FSU-Oklahoma game, the Sooners HAD to win this game to avoid a split NC. Luckily, oklahoma won.

Oklahoma would ahve beaten Miami this season. As good as Moss, Wayne, and Johnson were in 200, they would have been smoked by Roy Williams, Rocky Calmus, and all those great players on Oklahomas defense.

Boy, I know ALOT of Sooner fans that wish we could be in the same position, at the end of the year, as we were in this game. As a Sooner fan, it pains me to see us lose bowl game after bowl game. It makes every year we lose worse of a loss. We need to get the fire back that we had in 2001. And keep these college kids playing from getting a big head.

Boise? That was a senior laden Boise team and probably it's best team ever. Oklahoma was very talented but not very experienced. The growing pains of 05 and 06 will reap big benefits for 07 and 08.
