  • This has got to be one of the great country duets ever.

  • I never even knew this exhisted but it made me realize what a great song this is sung by the right ladies!

  • As soon as I heard this version, I had to have a go at it myself. Thank you all of you, singers and musicians, for giving m the desire to make an attempt at this great standard.

  • What A GREAT Song!!!

  • Have had the great honor of meeting both these beautiful ladies. It just doesn't get much better!! Wish they had this kind of Country on the radios today! Both of these ladies deserve a place in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

  • einfach super * geht voll unter die haut*

  • Thats how I like my country music:-DD

  • That's the way to lay down country music, a catchy melody and a steel guitar laid on a but not too thickly with a nice clean cut chop without the reverb shaking the place like a cathedral - none of this sloppy slipping and sliding, up and down and in and out of chords which hide the melody, so that nobody can hear anything. There are tons of that trash on modern steel players backups, who want to play at 100 miles an hour to make themselves feel good and to heck with the audience.

  • this is just great - raw and smooth at the same time, like good country music should be. the song is one of the best around.

  • two all time greats with a good job on an ole great song TY

  • I am just now "discovering" Wanda Jackson. Where oh where have I been? Now I am going to "discover" Norma Jean

  • good job. norma jean didnt record for too long did she?

  • .......I always thought Norman Jean was a very good singer. Porter dropped her for Dolly.

  • Norma put out several great songs and several great albums before leaving Nashville. She has recorded new material in the last few years, but it's mostly gosple. Porter didn't drop her as is reported.........Norma left on her own. I know Miss Norma and her husband Al and they are currently pastoring a church in Branson, Missouri. Great people! This is a great recording that I've never heard before. Appreciate you sharing it with us.
