Possibly one of the most spastically brutal matches I've ever seen. There I was thinking Scar was the craziest (Don't confuse that with best - I mean exactly what I say - craziest) Falcon in the game :P

really big accomplishments, but they're nearly equal in standing. which is better? in a game like melee, where people can be better at so many things and worse at so many others, it does come down to what they're facing and if they can employ the skills they excel at.

There will be no johns for anyone k. Darkrain is better than SS because he has more experience/travels more. That's it. They're both highly calculated players. it's as though they were fighting mirror images of themselves.I like SS better myself but even I can see that Darkrain has the upper hand here.

Darkrain is just overall the better player. He has more experience than jeff and it shows here and in most of his matches. Jeff is just a tad better with the gimps.

It's kinda cool because even though SS is smallish in stature and really quiet, he has a really firm handshake, and he always looks you right in the eye when he shakes your hand. Just like a gentleman.

I don't believe so. DarkRain has proven himself to be very good at Falcon dittos. He's made quite a few comebacks already vs. SilentSpectre. But SilentSpectre is an amazing Falcon overall.

SS could win though. I noticed that SS can do extremely well if he just plays an entire game full of grab dThrow to chase to dThrow again but it'd be boring. He reads very well like that but when it comes to an aerial right after dThrow, he misread many of them vs. DarkRain.

You're right about that. Darkrain has better follow-ups than SS after throws. Darkrain has the better offence overall while SS has better DI and recovery imo. They are pretty much even outside dittos (darkrain has the edge here).

anybody could tech chase grab after dthrow if the person techs but tech chasing isnt that simple. you have to take the DI and purposely missed techs into account. i think darkrain is much better at doing that. you cant simply dthrow the whole match in a falcon ditto. you have to either knee, stomp, or jab reset when they miss on purpose or else you will get hit by a get up attack if you are not careful.

No shit Darkrain fucked up. It's part of the game. If your opponent misses a layup, you don't say "that was simply a fuck-up" and give him the ball back to try again. You take the rebound and make him learn from his mistake.
