put a stock gt500 which is supercharged btw against a stock z06 that doesn't even have a supercharger... the gt500 still gets smoked... and then try it with the supercharged zr1 and its just total anialation chevy has always produced better vehicles in my opinion...
Put a Stock Saleen Sterling Edition Mustnag against a ZR1 and the race will probably be dead even. Dont make stupid comparisons... Look at the price of a New Z06 and a New GT500, or ZR1 - lol. GT500 MSRP: 45k, Z06 MSRP 75k. If you take that extra 30K and put in the GT500 it could easily be a 9-10 second car and take the Veyron in the 1/4 mile...

there is a 48 ford coupe that runs a 7.90 in bakersfield and it is all steel. it has around 1800-1900 hp. that mustang dont have 1600. i could see 1000-1100 but that is it.

Eh... it all depends on the gearing and the driver. There was a Supra around where I live with over a thousand horse and it only ran in the mid tens because it wasn't geared for the track. Throw those numbers into a 1/4 mile calculator and it will estimate an 8.8.

it must have been 7.2300000 (7.23 flat) as opposed to say, 7.235453342 which would be completely different.

man my buddy's got a '95 mustang with a 6.4l in it with nos at 800rwhp and makes 8.94 so you cant tell me that this thing has 1600....

actually our 1490hp javelin goes 7.59 so it doesn´t need 2200hp to do that.
