Of all the elevators in Downtown Austin, these are my #1 favorites, because it's in a historic building that's also a high rise (310-315 feet total building height), and is run by and open to the public. They also welcome photography, and these elevators are exquisitely nice. By the way, these used to be Otis elevators, but are now Dover, and it would have been really nice if they went with OTIS elevators outfitted with none other than CJ ANDERSON fixtures. That would have been very nice indeed.
