To skittles comment I totally agree with your points about axl's voice but problem is people payed good money to see a performance and from what I hear axl didn't show he valued peoples sacrifices to be at that show *whether it be driving 6-7 hours+ or just barely making rent n food to get good seats for someone who has a lower income. I have a good income but most GnR fans tend to be on the lower scale of incomes like all heavy metal bands. So you have to take into fact they felt used.

I was at that tour when they played at the Rosebowl in Pasadena. So many people left when Metallica was done playin and GNR played last.

Metallica should of never have opened for GNR, atleast not in that time, only if they had a tour around 1988.

Yeah WTF. I live in Montreal. The riot was caused by Guns N' Roses when Axl walked off stage for no real reason after a few songs. He just pulled a hissy fit. Guns went on after Metallica. Nobody there was upset at Metallica at all for not completing their show because it was a complete accident that the pyro burned James. The rest of Metallica immediately apologized, & most fans were concerned/disappointed, not angry. However, there was an ominous feeling before Guns went on stage.

Metallica explained that they were already paid for the show that they had to interrupt because of James getting on fire so they didn't want to make any profit for this comeback show so the price of the concert tickets was calculated to only pay everyone involved in the show and the rental of the Forum, that's it. No profit for them.
