i have really found it hard to understand the ignorance of many people here.
Race and tribal lineage does not justify or instate superiority, it is a tool of identification so that mankind may no one another, its also a form of social security. Being of Somali and Yemeni origin i know the problems caused by tribal warfare its a shame , brothers are killing one another for no reason. when families unite then clans then tribes thats when nations can unite. ignorance is the main problem. salaam
I spent 14 months in the middle east while in the US Army. I first heard her voice while on a bus in Kuwait. She was singing Youm Wara Youm and although I understood not one word......it was AMAZING!,,
Awesome song! I am from India and didn't understand much. However i could feel the emotions put in it, which was great! Why don't they put lyrics and translations alongwith it? she spoke more than two languages, if i am not wrong? nice one!
as i know from long time before from my egyption friends Samira saeed is from Al Maghrib settled in Egypt and married there. she is lovely lady and her voice is awesome
Black, white, yellow, red we all are humans from same earth and all of us has one had, two legs, two hands and one hart...so stop beeing rasists and start beeing humans.
What a wonderful song with great meaning, it echoes the following quotation, "The world is but one country and mankind its citizens." "Let not a man glory in that he loves his country; let him rather glory in this, that he loves his kind."
wow kaiserarab - i'm sorry that you are such an unhappy person calling other races names..your private message was hateful and shows what class you come from..obviously a lower one..perhaps you need to see a psychiatrist??? jejeje take your hatred elsewhere!!
i love this song. don't know if arabs are racist or not...but i have to wonder why the most popular arab singers - hailfa, nancy, cyrine, assala, etc all have had tons of plastic surgery - a more caucasian nose? less 'ethnic"? sad they're emulating the west. i'm of indian heritage and wouldn't dream of changing anything about me..
@simplicitykitty You made a very good comment and I glad that you are proud of your hair color, nose, and skin color. I am black American and I do not want to try to be like others for approval. Sadly not the women you speak of have no confidence.
I am just Happy for you Samira Saeed, you did a great job and sing a most beautiful song. keep going like that you are successful and always sweet on heart.
this song is good for egyptian people because ya hearts full with hate. I am from sudan and we the kids of Blue Nile river. I been in Egypt and I see the way ya treat my people and now all of you talking about we are this same. No one from egypt can say that all of you are good people but i hope this song can change some of you guys. I am proud to be Sudanese I love my country, my people and others too. I am not a hater
sorry to hear that you had a bad experience in Egypt. let me assure you, Egyptians themselves, most of them anyway, are treated like shit inside Egypt.
I hope you change your idea about Egypt. I am not saying that all Egyptians are good people. But I'm pretty sure that you may find a lot of friendly, hospitable, and kind people over there.
@nyngpe It's people like you that bring hate in people's hearts. You think because of the actions of some you can judge the entire people? That makes you just as bad as they are. And sorry my friend, you are the biggest hater.
everytime i listen to this song i feel i want to cry ...oh africa my love i am egyptian i am so proud of of you my poor very poor africa god helps you ....my love my conitinent
the black guy who had the dream swore to be a football player then the history witnessed the appearance of black football stars from great africa who could wrote a rich history

despite the differences between humans in tongues ,colors seprated in intentions shapes religions but our god is the same the god of all people love united us and we all are human...... and welcome to the nile river big hug and its valley and civilization we welcome you in our hearts our houses however that is not very much yet.....black but he was an artist he has a big dream the sun of the morning always takes care of him and in night there are other stories
hahaha, so you can tell someone's origin by accent, how funny. sofia marikh has a lebanese accent and is also moroccan. so is sasa. don't embarrass yourself next time, and googel first ;)
friendship, exeptional hospitality, commitment in family and business, good food, the overwhelming arabic history (before religion took over their history), innovation (at least in somecountries...

That is awesome, because I am also Moroccan, I found out after I posted the comment where she was from, and I actually found out today that my mother's uncle was samira's manager and actually went with her to Paris for the EUROvision contest..I am so proud that she is from Morocco!
despite our differences in colors and different religions and intentions but we beleive in one god the god of humanity is one love united us and we are all humans come to the valley of the nile we are welcoming u. this song was played during the African cup of nations in Egypt where i come from. enjoy the song
