@ChongDinHok If you mean shifting the sync by X amount of time, maybe, I dunno though (it'd be nice if it does). if you mean "it does all the syncing for you", definitely not. If you're playing video in certain media players, you can delay/speed the subtitles by pressing certain buttons. F1 and F2 (Sooner/later) for Media Player Classic.
Those | shapes don't appear on the exported SUB file. It's annoying that they appear in the video preview of Subtitle Workshop, but when you load them on a sub, they work as line breaks, so things will appear as you intend.
About the sizes, you can only change the basic formatting that I can tell (bold, italic, underline), but on the program you load it on (such as WMP Classic) you can change the style there, including the font and font size.
Don't complain about such things, though I admit, I totally forgot to change the wallpaper to make it more 'all ages' suitable, but still, pointless to complain about the wallpaper when the tutorial is the point of the video.
Get rid of it you mean? I'm not sure you can, exactly.
I think it depends on what you're using it for. Like, I think if you use the subtitles on a video file on your computer, there won't be black bars. But on Youtube there will be.
Ah, because I'm THAT nice, I tested it. In a video file, there are no black bars, so it does depend on where you use the subs.
Two subtitles? You mean a second subtitle track (like second language)?
If so, you have to make a second subtitle file (basically, do it all over again for the second track), You upload it to youtube just like the first one, but as a different language or whatever (select it),
can you do AUTOMATIC SYNC?? its hard to sync one by one... thanks to reply

oh okay
TheUltimateSuJuFan 2 years ago
uhhmm, how do u save it?
TheUltimateSuJuFan 2 years ago
File dropdown, and 'save as'. Pick one of the 'save as types', and type in a file name.
.SUB, and .SRT are the most common sub files though.

jeez i was looking for a tutorial not a pervy wallpaper

Then ignore the wallpaper and view the tutorial.

But dude with that wallpaper your showing your a perv, which is not cool.
addiscreation40 2 years ago
If you don't like it, tough.
'Perv' is a blanket term for anyone that likes/does anything that relates to sex, that they don't approve of.

It doesn't work with encoded video :(

Carlsagan93 2 years ago
Ah really? Well, I had posted it as a video response to the Captions video (below that video, you'd see my screen name).
But at least you found it ^_^
KageNoAku 2 years ago
well, I think it would have been better if you woud have put audio (explain)
Carlsagan93 2 years ago
I don't have an audio input device (otherwise I would have).
I don't even have a standalone sound card. I wonder if my mobo could still do it though (it can output HD 7.1 audio)....
