When in Vegas I want to have fun. I am a parent and I would not want to be near rooms with loud babies. Also the parents should not leave the babies. My 1st time in Vegas was in HS. We did stay at Circus Circus. lol If it was my bday and I was partying, music would have stayed at a decent level(because I would have been very tipsy.) Happy belated bday Lana. :)

As far as the home-alone-kid is concerned, parents do not understand how traumatic it can be for a child! I remember I was locked up by my mother when I was a kid (yes, I know, how bad) and I remember freaking out because I was banging on the wall with my feet, I was desperate to go out and did not know if she was there hearing me or not. I am trying to say that kids are not animals that you hope will be fine when you come back. ANYTHING could happen but the biggest scars are in their soul.
Well,as much I would hate to be up all night because of crying and screaming by kids and although I definitely do not condone their leaving their kids i the room while they go gamble, I would never not turn down the music if I was asked to. Yes, I would be like "what do you want, you kept me up all night yesterday!" all to myself though, I would not vocalise it. The kids woke up, and saw that their parents were gone. So they were screaming bloody murder for like an hour! I called the hotel, and security found them in the casino. When the parents got to the room, the kids were sooo traumatized they cried for another hour and a half! Those jerks.

I've seen parents taking their kids to casinos in Vegas at 3AM! All of these Casinos allow smoking and its just so sad to see kids like that. I don't know why parents would take their kids to Vegas anyways...its not very "child-friendly", with girls in skimpy outfits everywhere. LOL.

at first i was going to say it was a bitttt different because babies cant control if they scream or not, and the parents probably try to calm them down, but since you mentioned they (obviously now it makes sense since they were crying all night) left the babies alone, i think its completely ridiculous of them to ask you to turn your music down (they care about their babes tonight but not the night before? wtf?) but also STUPID as parents to leave them alone >:C

Clearly no one should leave their kids or take their kids to a casino but how the hell do you compare you playing your music loudly to their babies' crying. A baby is going to cry no matter what you do if something is bugging the baby, you can easily turn down your music. Come on now, there is no comparsion. Did you go and find out if the child was ok or not? Think about for a minute.

the babies were crying all night, or for hours straight, because the parents left the two babies ALONE. do you think a baby would cry for hours on end if they were attended by parents? Ive taken care of lots of babies volunteering at a hospital and I know that a baby would calm down a lot if not a little if attended by someone. The babies were left alone, hence the constant crying. No, is not the babies fault, but the parents werent there to even take care of the babies crying.

So I wouldn't really blame them for asking you to turn down your music if it really was that loud, in the end they do have babies around and it wouldn't be nice if you didn't consider that. It's not like they were intentionally keeping you up all night with their babies' crying (or maybe they're really bad parents O_O)
But what I don't get is why the hell they'd bring their kids to vegas?! That's just immature parenting right there!

1. Well I have a baby and you can't really control when they cry, however they had no right to tell you to turn your music down when their babies kept you up.
2. Hell no!! I don't leave my baby alone even to go to the mail and thats just ouside my house! what if the baby wakes up and no one is there? Plus why would you take your baby to Vegas? Thats dumb, they should of gotten a baby sitter.

Ive been on both sides of the situation as far as screaming babies, and there isn't much you can do to shut a baby who is flippin the F-out at times. So when im on the losing sleep side, i think Its good to just understand that one solid deserves another. You dont call security on me, & i'll return the damn favor. Oh and i live in nyc where on holidays you are pretty much sandwhiched in btwn house parties till 6 in the morn !!!

I use to work at this Big Lots and a girl ran in the store "real quick" left her baby in the car outside car running and was so shocked when someone stole her car come on now and your shocked shhheeesh common sense people. I hate that what I am saying sounds insensitive but I am a mother and never would I do that.

I can understand the kids crying, when my daughter cries I try to get her to stop, but if she doesn't hey....that's life. I wouldn't tell you turn your music down esp. if I know my kid was crying loudly the other night. As for for leaving her in a hotel room by herself.......um.......NO!

we'll thats just like me I live in a apt complex and have 3 kids we'll my youngest son has add and aspergers disorder(a sorta like autism kinda thing but milder form) and he sometimes stomps on the floor and Im on the top floor BUT their pitbull barks at nite alot and their real loud like slamming doors and such but then again I think well my kids might bother them during the day so its kinda like a win lose situation? If kids were sick or something I could understand but I dunno lol take care.

i understand your frustration but it depends. Maybe they have sick kids, or maybe they came from across country and are trying to adjust their kids to a major time change. Ive been in similar situations as a mom and it's embarassing but you cant just flip a switch and make them stop. And loud music def wont help them. Parents are prob exhausted. However, that might not be their situation and maybe they're just jerks. Who knows? And NO it is NOT ok to leave kids alone at that age ANYWHERE EVER

As far as the home-alone-kid is concerned, parents do not understand how traumatic it can be for a child! I remember I was locked up by my mother when I was a kid (yes, I know, how bad) and I remember freaking out because I was banging on the wall with my feet, I was desperate to go out and did not know if she was there hearing me or not. I am trying to say that kids are not animals that you hope will be fine when you come back. ANYTHING could happen but the biggest scars are in their soul.

Well,as much I would hate to be up all night because of crying and screaming by kids and although I definitely do not condone their leaving their kids i the room while they go gamble, I would never not turn down the music if I was asked to. Yes, I would be like "what do you want, you kept me up all night yesterday!" all to myself though, I would not vocalise it. Because after all, they are kids and I would not want the same thing to happen to me as a kid. I still hate loud music from neighbours!

Those are irresponsible parents. I was in Vegas two weeks ago and there were so many little kids there! We had babies crying at 2am and then all day too, but the parents were in the room with them. Leave the kids at home, or don't go until they're 18.

Sometimes, when my kids were small, they didn't sleep well in hotels. I would DEFINITELY not go ask my neighbor to turn down their music when my loud ass kids kept you up the night before. This from a Mom!
NO! It's NOT ok to leave your kids in a hotel room! If they wake up and wander into the hallway and are snatched by a child molester/homicidal maniac who rapes them and then chops them up, the parents would second guess that one last shot at the craps table.

The kids woke up, and saw that their parents were gone. So they were screaming bloody murder for like an hour! I called the hotel, and security found them in the casino. When the parents got to the room, the kids were sooo traumatized they cried for another hour and a half! Those jerks.
