Did not know they did this song. I'm familar with it via Emmylou Harris and Anne Murray's versions (which are also both quite beauitful). Their version is great too. I love the funky guitar riff and their harmonies.

I love this song! The songwriter is Chip Taylor who also co-wrote another Hollies classic, I Can't Let Go. They also did a fantastic job of recording Emmylou Harris' Boulder to Birmingham.

Their song writing abilities were great, but they don't get credit for writing this one - that goes to Emmy Lou Harris. I do like the Hollies arrangement very much though and lament its absense on a recent box set release.
