I have been a Mark Chesnutt fan since he started in the late 80's early 90's. Mark has 2 new albums out and you don't even hear his songs on the radio. Nashville is more into "pop country" like Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood . Nashville took the word (COUNTRY) out of country music
