I think Ventura is a bit simple minded. I agree with him on a lot of things but he doesn't allow people to debate with him and he often sees things in black and white. The government knew an attack was coming...but instead of stopping it they decided to use it to their advantage. Also those are popular arguments by 9/11 conspiracy groups and the idea that in our technological and economic times that ANY government could pull that off is laughable. You also mentioned Vietnam and how the government lied then, which still is not evidence that the government orchistrated 9/11.

Check their credentials and education, and don't just look at their job title. @MuramasaDemon Well you have to look at what happened AFTER the attacks. Afghanistan, Iraq & Patriot Act. You already ADMITTED the 2 wars were about oil. We all know how important oil is, especially to the US, as it has very little oil left and relies on foreign oil (Middle-Eastern oil in particular).
If it was that simple to carry out an attack as you are detailing, extremists would have already done it. Iraq wasn't even capable of making nukes. And I think TWO wars were large enough response.
