These films do not represent the true culture of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the beliefs of the vast majority of the Pakistani Muslim population.
The vast majority of Pakistani Muslims have rejected these vulgar movies made by people that only care about making large chunks of money, even if it's at the cost of destroying the entire Pakistani society.
This is why Lollywood has been a big failure in Pakistan.

Pakistan is a country that has taken inspiration from many cultures. Alexander brought the culture of europe to India and many of their traditions were adopted. The Mughals came and brought education, poetry, arts and culture, we were also one of the most civilized ancient societies and dont forget that Pakistan was one a land where hinduism and ancient chinese cultures were followed. So for you to define Pakistan's culture as purely Islamic is wrong. Islam is a religion not a culture.

My argument that we eat daal Chawal and wear Shalwar Kamiz is to say that those things come from our Pakistani culture even when there is no mention of it in the Quran. @bestozesto This country was established as a society where Muslims can live peacefully and practice their religion in whatever way they sought fit without any pressure from Hindus. Muslims couldnt get proper jobs, they couldt act in films under their muslim names and they were treated poorly and that is why Jinnah decided to create a independent state where Muslims could live peacefully. That in no way meant that this was supposed to a talibanized state.
