I remember when the left was organizing demonstrations on my campus in the early 90s; even with regard to the most mundane issues, they would employ the most perverse and bizarre tactics they presumably were able to concoct. I mean, seriously, how does dressing up like escapees from Dr. Moreau's island, and playing musical instruments, put across any ideological message what-so-ever?!?
