@WrAth2110 it's all about acceleration m8... impreza is tuned for rally and has very, very short gearbox, while gallardo is stock (not saying it's crap), and needs more time to hit RPM enough for maximum power... that's why u have that small gap in a 1/4 of a mile... impreza was in 6th gear and gallardo was in 3rd... on 1 mile race gallardo would leave impreza 300 meters behind (to be honest, i'm impreza fan, but it's reality)

@Deksametazon1 misconception ^^. what makes a car move is pistons reciprocating. What accelerates it is the force pushing it. in other words. "torque", the frequencys the rpm and the rate to which, is redline. Powers a combination of the two, but what actually helps accelerate is torque not power and the lambos got MORE torque, a bigger engine, more cylinders, better aerodynamics, lesser weight etc. difference is made in engineering.. gear ratios, driveterrain etc which Subaru far excel at.

Actualy the WRX STI Prodive only has a better after market prodive ecu ,modified prodive exhaust ,better suspension, and bigger wheels. Normaly seeing 300hp has 38 more hp and 51/lb of torque and a .2 second increase in 0-60mph time being 4.4 sec.

This isnt a WRC. The WRC has a complete other body. This is a regular STI, just with the WRC-Decals. And i also dont think that this STI is heavy modded. I think there are just some "regular" modds. Put a Turboback-Exhaust, a bigger Turbo, ECU-Reflash, stronger fuelpump, bigger intercooler ect. you can easily make about 420hp wich is good for about 4 seconds from 0-60 mph.
