I found out this version of Silverbolt glows under a black light. Perhaps this is one of his hidden gimmicks all thanks to the nauseating color scheme Hasbro gave him ^-^

Yeah I like Silverbolt because he doesn't really have any transmetal characteristics, like a "realistic" wolf and eagle.

Transmetals can have crazy colors, but not realistic ones. What kind of real wolf or eagle has neon colors?

purple and neon green works ONLY for decepticons , it looks bad on autobots . also you can use the pea soup color for a toxic mix with purple . the unreleased toxitron has a such color scheme and it looks good . joker is a bad guy and it looks good , g2 brawl looks good . but on silverbolt it looks retard

The one universe toy I actully got was Depth Charge and I bought him because unlike the other figures he appeared to painted sort of in a simular fasion to Rattrap's TM mold to make him look like his original beast mode.

He was painted to look like a real mantiray rather than a shiney blue one and on him that worked out rather nicely ignoreing that he still had some robotic looking molding in the beast mode.

As a side note, from what I heard the color schemes of early waves of Universe (like him, Primal, Depth Charge, etc...) weren't colored by the Transformers team but by other Hasbro color departments.
