@moviestoco, no, I didn't take the original and edit the text, you can't edit text on piece of film. It was done using some other methods that are explained in the links at the beginning of the thread.
Nice video but i have a question how can i put this to blender and recreate my own cause i already got the video with a blank intro and i was wondering how i can put that video on blender so i can add my own text?
@HundredDollarVideo - Dude this is Awesome!!! However I could use some assistance with mine attempt. It seems that the project file created in AE-CS5 requires a 64 bit system. I however only have a 32 bit system which will install AE-CS4 (which runs with mega issues) and this puts in at a loss as I was trying to create my own intro for my girls movie screening party this weekend. Anyway you can assist? - Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Hey. I have been trying to do this too using the projectfile from AVS, but the instructions are a little bit too advanced for me. Do you think you could do a quick tutorial on how to do this? Thanks.
Hey man i was wondering if you wasent busy one time making me a custom one, if it isnt too hard. since i am clueless about how to do it and i've never worked with adobe after effects etc :/. i would love it :D PM me if you can :) thanks.
@HundredDollarVideo Thank you I was wondering if you could take a look at the Desilu Intro right here on youtube and if you can tell me if it possible for me to edit it myself
Is there a way you could create an instructional video on how to recreate that on After Effects. I have After Effects, I have a template downloaded from Woody Family Cinema, but when I open it, all I get is a bunch of colors like a wacked out old fashioned TV. I cannot figure out how to put my text in. (very confused) P.S. I am extremely new to After Effects, I have mainly worked with Blender.
Unfortunately, this isn't something you want to be 'starting off' with, to be sure. After Effects is pretty complex, and this project is not a simple one. If you are following the thread on the AVS forums, I'll be postinganew project soon that will make it a bit easier to do this
@HundredDollarVideo Ya, now I understand, I saw your instructions on the AVS forums and you are quite right, they look way to complicated. I am more used to making the fox, universal, and 2D Disney intro on Blender where you just fill in your text (maybe make minor adjustments) and hit animate... Do you know if they make a Warner Brother's Intro on Blender? I saw on on Woody Family Cinema, but it won't work.
That is awesome, would you consider making and selling custom intros ? That is something i am interested in but do not have the knowledge or tools to make.
@djphenominal - I can do anything video related, however, something like this can only be used privately, can't be displayed or shown in public, such as a night club, theater or other general admission venue.
@djphenominal My motion graphics work runs $50 per hour, this scene ran about 2 hours to complete. Contact me directly via my YouTube Channel rather than via comments on this video. Thanks.
@renandstimpy, thanks for the kind words.

@TheCangri8
You can't edit this in Blender, that's not how Blender works. This was done in Adobe After Effects.

This was done in AE-CS5. I am working on a newer version where the text fades out and the camera glides across the water towards the castle.

@prckay You would need to have Adobe After Effects and the project files in order to add your own text.

prckay 1 year ago
@prckay You need tosearch for the AVS forums online, then search in the AVS forums for Disney INtro. The project files are to be found there.

@HundredDollarVideo - I completely understand that such a file could only be used for private viewing. How much would you charge ?
