It's hard to believe that Schlitz was once big enough to sponsor major concert tours. The Who is now sponsored by the AARP. It's a shame Ruby Star was booed by Milwaukee fans. She passed away a few years ago.
I saw The Who in Milwaukee on this, their final "farewell" tour. I think Schlitz was nearly out of business by then. A local DJ camped out on top of a billboard until the band agreed to add Milwaukee to its tour. It was a great concert. Ruby Star, a local band, opened for them. They were good too, but got booed by impatient fans. We likely drank something other than Schlitz that night.
@basemalt Remenber the "Reggie Who" signs at County Stadium? Not implying Reggie Jackson was a has been, but instead referring to bring the Who to Milwaukee, and the Brewers run for the Pennant that year. The Brewers had the smallest payroll in MLB, but made the World Series, beating out the powerhouse NY Yankees. Remember Reggie's heckler in the right field bleachers? He pointed to him and blasted a homer just missing that douche bag. I was there and saw it. Ah, the memories.
Pete's a whore.

@invaderzimgirl14
Amazon does. Type under "The Who Rocks America:1982 American Tour". They have the posters on sale from different individuals.

First major concert tour that was corporately sponsored. Schlitz was bought by Stroh's in 1982, that same year.

No it was The Stones in 1981 when Jovan Perfume sponsored "The Tattoo You 1981 Tour"
