  • I am not the person who edited this. It is a guy named Sam Farha. Credit where credit is due. I am only the person who uploaded this years ago.

  • I showed your amv at one or two otaku cons in the Czech Republic when talking about the history of anime and manga, and I still think it's great material, even though I'm not sure you have all the dates and "very first"s right. I wish I could have it in downloaded in better quality though, because I'm going to offer it to my teacher for his lecture very soon. You see, I'm currently studying in Japan and one of my courses is Popular Culture as Social Practice in Japan...

  • What about Japanese propaganda during WW2?

  • I believe they are talking about manga, that only really started to appear in the underground during the time. Apparently Hirohito did not like the combination of western comics with Ukioh print blocks which as we all know started manga which inspired a many of anime.

  • @manwiththem9 i just learned about that today O:

  • Absolutely breathtaking, you obviously know what you're doing. It was fun remembering anime of the past, and also interesting to see shows that have been around so long but are still popular.

    Well done.

  • Not bad, really like the music choice as well. I was actually kinda surprised when I recently found out that the large eyes in anime is not something from Japan. It's actially inspired by the earlier Disney movies to represent child-like wonder. Just something interesting I would like to mention.

  • nice! I'm surprised that you didn't put InuYasha or Naruto in there. And I like that you didn't xD Should've but .hack >.>

  • Awesome presentation, and I had fun seeing how many I could name from the clips. Missing three out of whatever was up there ain't bad :P

  • that gave me a sigure man that blinkin but no hentai phfft

  • Nicely done. thanks.

  • Interesting to see how anime has changed and grown! I liked it!
