is this a hard bottom boat or inflatable floor? I have an inflatable floor and when i try to plane the nose of the boat goes way up and pushes the water, and does not ride ontop of it.

my best answer is I have an air floor to and it was impossible to get to plane with a small motor i went to a 9.9 2 stroke and now I can plane you have have to get th motor at the right speed and lean forward then stay on the throttle once your noce is down what motor do you have ??

Nice boat. Would a large dog be a problem with the air floor? Maybe a wood floor would be better.

To protect air floor from dog claws you can put piece of carpeting on top of air floor or piece of vinyl flooring from Home Depot. Or you can put regular socks on your dog feet. You will need 4 socks in this case :)

I have this boat and 2 german shepherds. The material is very strong, the one dog loves to balance on the bow, and sometimes fall in. the only problem with dogs in this boat is when they walk on you. The material dosnet even scratch.

Air floor is as good as a plywood floor. It is very hard, you can stand, walk and jump on it. Unless you 300 lbs person, it should be no problem to you. Plus air floor add buyouncy and make boat lighter then plywood floor.
