I just adore watching all of ur wonderful and helpful videos. I watch alot of them on my I-phone while laying down to go to sleep. I sometimes catch myself smiling at just how cute ur items come out.
Anyway I just had one little question. Right before Rnd 4, U say to double crochet into the chain 3 to end, but u r really single crocheting into that chain 3. I understood the era, but there might be 1 or 2 who might not catch on.
@ksjabber The written instruction link is in the video details below each video. The following is my crochet blog with all of my patterns. crochet-mania.blogspot.com
Thank you so much for these videos. Thanks to you I have made a lap sized blanket, some scarves and a hat and I'm starting a granny square blanket. I've tried to learn many times and no one could show me because I was a lefty. Your explanations and the video helped me learn to crochet!!
thanks for the video! but i dont get with the first double crochet, where in the loop are you putting the crochet hook? ive been trying crochet for a week and everything ive looked up isn't making sense to me because its all confusing to me..thnks for ur help!:)
You know I'll have to find this one in right hand b/c its confusing for me to see it in left hand lol, its funny though my mommy taught me how to crochet when I was a little girl and she is actually left handed
Thank you, thank you! I'm a very audio/visual learner and just cannot pick up the written text as quickly as watching someone and having them talk me through it . And being left handed makes it even more challenging. Your videos are a gift from the Crochet Goddess! Thank you!
I am having a crochet lesson at my house tonight with a couple friends that have been dying to learn to crochet since they have seen the cool stuff i make now (Thanks to you :)Also, thanks to you my left handed friend wont be left (pardon the pun) out tonight haha! I plan on showing her this to make a wash rag for her first project. Thanks so much for these left hand videos :) You rock!
My grandmother always tried to teach me to crochet, but I never could b/c I was a lefty and couldn't understand how to do it, now I finally get it and made my first granny square... I'm giving it to my grandma :)
Is it hard to do an large granny square blanket i want to do one ! any suggestions?

@LuvinnDaMusic You just put the hook into the loop that you made with the chain. It keeps going in and out of that loop for the whole first round.

It is so great to hear that you understand how to do what your grandma was teaching you. I bet your grandma will love the square. :)
