  • This is PERFECT for my nervousness <3

  • Oh, my! Looking forward to more from you. This is incredibly catchy and memorable. Did you use any tunes from the pony show itself as a base, or was it fully original? If you did use any base tunes, they're either incredibly subtle or I'm incredibly oblivious.

  • @JebinZedalu Thanks so much :) I have some other songs in the works, but it may be awhile before I get them finished, as I keep myself busy with a full time job and also school.

This is about 95% original, the only thing I used (knowingly) from the show is the little lick on the end that is a lick that usually plays at the end of an Applejack scene. For example the "you're welcome!" in Applebuck Season. I just loved the name Zap Apple Jam and started improvising some licks that I felt fit.

  • This really captures the Apple family and young Granny Smith (Annie Smith?) really well! Great work. :)

  • @HeartmendSoar I'm glad people are getting that vibe from it :D Thanks!

  • hey, look, i found some new music to play on bronytv! this was awesome ^.^

  • @ashfire2407 That would be awesome! Thanks for listening! :)

  • This is lovely, I like the unique style.

  • @Pyrobug0 Thanks a lot! I play a lot of different music, and this is definitely so much fun to play.

  • This reminds me of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. Good times, I liked it. ^_^

  • @Sonar009 Never did play that game, but it looks like a fun little platformer. Thanks!

  • Great job! Can I ask what you used to record this with? I have a Roland Cube 80x, but when I run it from the amp to the computer, it's really quiet and I have to up the decibels a bunch, but that causes it to sound pretty bad with an annoying buzzing in the background. I have no idea why though. It sounds great through the amp itself though.

  • @AspectOfTheStorm I have a Tascam US-800 usb audio interface to record with, and a Boss GT-8 for my effects. Depending on what I'm going for, I'll either mic my amp (Crate XT120R) or use my Boss pedal as the preamp and go direct in. Using Cubase LE5 as my DAW right now. Some amps sound good through direct input, others don't. If you don't have an audio interface, I'd highly recommend one for recording. Thanks for listening! :)

  • Ooh, this is really cool. I feel like you really captured the apple family in this. It's really interesting to listen to too. Great work!

  • @45Appletree thanks, I'm glad you think so! :)

  • Simply Amazing =D

  • @NekfireStorm thanks :D

  • This sounds really good. Acoustic guitars are amazing, so glad I can play one.

  • @loraxe99 thanks! woo for acoustic guitars!

  • Epic.

  • @Anthon1996 only the best for the epic Granny Smith and her epic jam.

  • I wish I could play the acoustic this well, it's in my name for Celestia's sake lol.

  • @AcousticBrony dude, thanks so much! not going to lie, you've been a HUGE inspiration to me, I love your stuff! really looking forward to seeing what you have in the works.

  • no clue how i ended up here....but sub'd nicely done.

  • @xProgenituSx well, I'm glad you enjoyed what you found then! thanks for the sub, hope to get some new stuff out before too long, so stay tuned.

  • Oh, and Chet Atkins. very chet-y.

  • So I have to ask - was this inspired by the Grateful Dead at all? because i got both GD and led zeppelin vibes from this.

Also, incredible. Fucking incredible. I'd kill for this ability.

  • @TarbyRocks although I wasn't really thinking about them when I wrote it, I do love me some Grateful Dead, and Chet ain't shabby either. glad you enjoyed it!

  • This sounds fantastic! I'd love to see this filled out into an entire song, and I hope you get around to doing that. I really loved this.

  • @SenatorMyth thanks so much! I may come back and revisit it in the future with a different version, but I've got some other things in the works first. I'd definitely love to see what it'd sound like with a full band too!
