I have an earlier version of this recording from 1904, one sided, with arthur pryor conduction. this one is definately of better quality as mine is awfully battered and has a chunk glued back into it (though it still runs quite well in such condition).
@starfoxhero someone who doesn't know how to sell 78 RPM record will always assume they are all rare and try to sell 78 RPM as high as $20-100. I bought his one for 25 cents. I generally try to to buy only at 50 cents to a dollar a record and always buy in bluk. I bought a 1st pressing of the 1st jazz record recorded in 1917 for 20 dollars. it will alway depend on the buyer seller and the record.
Zef, Sounds good. You heard voices at the end of side one? I thought I heard something as well, probably the conductor or recording engineer. On most acoustic machine you can't really hear it so I guess they let a lot of these slide. I have one in my collection that I hear someone speaking at the beginning. The engineer telling them to start I think.
