Writing it over and over again is impossible because you are no more a kid, the way you said is absolutely wrong....you have some other things to do too.... i personally would prefer kanji by memorizing the pictorial connections and mnemonics methods..... once u know how the strokes are written in order.... u dont need it to learn like a kids.... Kids are often taught by repetition of kanji writing day by day because they want them to write kanji in beautiful calligraphy....
@vetarwyn . Japanese learn kanji all through grade school, middle school and high school. When they start to learn to read and write kanji, they are also no longer kids. In high school, they are no longer kids. And when they go onto univercity and learn new words and vocabulary, they also write it over and over again. Your idea is not true at all, they don't write kanji in order to write beautiful calligraphy. Kanji is writen over and over because repitition makes you remember the kanji
