  • No no! - the 7th is already a "sharp." Calling it a Sharp 7 is incorrect - it is called a NATURAL 7. The Flat 7 is taking a natural 7 and lowering it by 1 halfstep. The only modifications you can do to diatonic notes are:

    1 b2 2 b3 3 4 #4 5 b6 6 b7 7 1

    b3 is sometimes called aug2

    #4 is often called b5

    b6 is often called aug5

6 is referred to as bb7 in diminished chords.

    You cant flat or sharp

    1

You cant flat 4 - (it becomes 3 when you do) any other note can be flatted or sharped.

  • You obviously DID NOT download the 5 Position system which shows all those scales. Watch the videos and download the files and LOOK AT THEM before you ask questions.

  • Harmonic Mi 1 2 b3 4 5 b6 7 1

    Natural Minor

    1 2 b3 4 5 b6 b7 1

    No such thing as #7.

  • Great stuff. I'm not sure if I'm ready to collect my 200 bucks yet, but I'm working on it, hehe.
