@XxDatBlonde1xX I don't see why there's this big debate about them. They're both great. True VI doesn't get the attention it deserves, but what can you expect? I personally prefer IX, then VI-VII, VIII, and lastly IV-V-XII. Twelve was still good, but it lost a lot of the storyline in return for the insane visual art.

Many have debated FFVI or FFVII as best Final Fantasy. I say neither...they are both the best in different ways. My favorite however...probably has been FFIV for years. This is simply because it was the first truly great RPG I played. Before Chrono Trigger and Earthbound of course...FFIV was what first got me into RPGs so that one will always hold a soft spot.

That said I LOVE this boss music I still remember "DON'T ATTACK THE SHELL!"

This is my absolute favorite boss theme from FF6. Nothing really can compare to it. Some do come close (maybe ff4). Ff7 is really a miss for me since halfway through it sounds like a cacophony of strange notes.

Even The Marshal in the Narshe Mines is easy, but can KO easy with Charge. Ymir? If you use Magitek Missile it's dwon in a few turns, but if you've chonsen to attack and it withdraws inside its shell? Megavolt, Game Over.

THIS is one of the reason that i love fight boss in FF6. Maybe the best song for "boss battle" in every FF.

I'm sad when some people says "I play FF" and only know 7 or 10 (maybe the most popular) and don't want to play FF6. Because of "old graphics"... graphics, was maybe the best of the SNES. Music was awesome and the story is O_o.

They don't know that this game is much much amazing than a LOT of new games.

Thanks god they realease this in Europe by the PS1 and i could discover THIS.

One by SSH which is just EPIC. There's another done by The Black Mages too.

I prefer the SSH version, but both are really cool. Check them out. I think you'll enjoy them.

I'm pretty confident the DS (or the DSi, at the very least) would handle the graphics for the PS offerings just fine. I'm just afraid the format change would be handled poorly. (Final Fantasy IV Advance comes to mind...)

I'm pretty sure the cutscenes could still be translated pretty well. The DS can do video quite well.

Some fidelity would be lost, I'm sure, but I would not be disappointed.
