  • Y que Y que buenaza su ritmo siempre lo bailaba con furia y parte que era larga la cancion para seguir bailando en una discotecas que apreciaba este tipo de genero jaja desde Lima Peru Daniel Mendoza

  • this band providez the ultimate example of pioneering. imagine how many artists from today grew up listening to them. i sure did.

  • EDDIE BRAVO!

  • ASSASSIN

  • You know it's interesting to compare Ministry with New Order. Both had differing sounds at the start and at the end of their careers, Ministry was synth pop and New Order was Joy Division at the beginning. Then both evolved to produce the most interesting parts of their work as Ministry introduced more metal elements and New Order introduced more dance elements to post punk. But then both bands went too far. Ministry became an indistinguishable metal band. New Order became an ordinary pop band.

  • This album and 'rape and honey'; best two albums out of their library bare none. A close third: I love the cover up album.

  • thiz iz the song that introduced me to the band anna i heard it by pure accident at a house party. 25 yearz later i got mixxxes od the the mole, geeez.

  • this is soooo choice.... what so... so what? so this...

  • Ironically, I learned where the samples for this came from via MST3K: Ed Wood's The Violent Years.

  • @NeuroManson Yeah.Luv that episode.Now when I hear this, I think of that one.

  • Probably my favorite all time song, may not be my favorite on any given day lately, but as songs become popular in my playlist and slowly fade away, this one is always right in there.

  • Y que Y que asi le digo a todas mis amistades de Lima Peru Full poder desde Lima Peru MV Daniel Mendoza S

  • what can i say - epic :)

  • have loved this song for 5 years since i first heard it sounds the best really loud.

  • This song just kicks ass!!

  • i feel like this song was made for me. i know others of you feel that way too. this song means alot of things to me. one is to keep marching.

  • at cyclicvideo It was. In the movie "Compulsion, a fictionalized account of the Leopold Leob murder (in Chicago) which inspired this song.

the samples used in the song did not come from that movie (not a bad guess though)

  • @cyclicvideo The samples came from Ed Wood's The Violent Years.

  • @NeuroManson thanks... I've listened to this album since the day it was released. Never knew. Now I'm watching Ed's movies for nostalgia.

  • Relapse!

  • without ministry there would be no nine inch nails.

  • MINISTRY AND NINE INCH NAILS - the rest can not exist for me.

  • This is one of a few songs that Chris Connelly did the vocals for and Al continues to take credit for while calling Connelly talentless and so on. I don't think Grandpa Al could have sung the lyrics with nearly as much conviction as Connelly does.

  • oooh Hip Hop. gr0vy baby.

  • DIEEEEEEE

  • 15 years old, witnessed this LIVE at '92 Lolla. The energy, the sun setting, the rain hitting, the bone-clad mic stands slowly dragged out as this bass line played for about 20 min even before they 'busted' out into lyrics, ear~piercingly loud. My 'mind' will never forget the ENERGY of their set that day. Un~fucking~real. "SO WHAT!!!"

  • haven't heard this in years and find myself wanting to wander around in the dark waiting till it kicks in so I can slam into something

  • i think this song needs to be expanded into a feature film

  • @cyclicvideo It was. In the movie "Compulsion, a fictionalized account of the Leopold Leob murder (in Chicago) which inspired this song.

  • the best of the best of the best

  • The best Ministry song of all time.

  • Kill for the thrill....

  • 0 dislikes. Keep up the good work you sick fucks! Cheers!! \m/ \m/

  • acid dropping melting my very existence 4 bouy 5mins then i come bak down and live

  • I forgot a period in there somewhere,,,, hmmm

  • i'm 41 and i remember what a mosh pit is and i am ready to jump in right how, and all you motherfuckers, grease up your wheelchairs and roll them right the fuck out ME, and PROGRESS!

  • SO GOTH

  • the third verse (al) makes me think of this asshole who used to try to force all his problems on me and my friend

  • i like it i want it i eat it i smoke it i drop it cuz its all mine mine mine mine mine! ha!

  • Man I remember the huge mosh pits to this tune at the first Lollapalooza show. Maybe it was the second can't remember exactly.

  • @mmontes15 pretty sure it was second, in 1992! ;-)

  • Awesome song, for some reason it reminds me of the joker from the batman saga. A new batman movie is coming this winter.

  • This is a best song... So what!...A. Jourgersen.

  • one of the best shows i have ever seen live. I think the best. it was at the House of Blues in Vegas. This song started the pit and made my night. it was about the 3rd or 4th song into the set and the first of the older songs at the time. It was the dark side of the spoon tour.

  • Great song but it sounds even better live.

  • ED wood!!

  • i do, they still exist. suck it green day. american idiot for sure. pull.your pants up

  • DIE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fuck you Al. Fuck you for making all other music sound cheap and plastic.

  • Inspired by the great (terrible) Ed wood scripted movie "The Violent Years." The judge's speech is sampled from that movie. "So What?" is the girls anthem. It's mine as well. FANTASTIC song.

  • sounds alot like "Alice" by the Sisters of Mercy

  • "train their children"

  • I don't think you can fully appreciate this song if you haven't killed someone just to watch them die. Don't get me wrong it is still a good song, but until you experience the rush of murder, you will never understand. For the NSA and FBIs benefit, I was just joking.

  • ah, a full green like bar... just how it should be.

  • Love it. So fucking what!!

  • Comment removed

  • something happen in the 90's n the seeds planted r starting 2 open up. we r some1 has 2 posion r pull these fuckin hip hop plants n rap flowers ha

  • @crackpotz1 Say that in English ?

  • I thought it said "I'm a Time bomb inside."

  • fuck, and its "a screaming headache on THE BROW OF THE STATE" not on the promised age.

  • Chris Connelly + Ministry = So What? And the answer = This! This fucking song!

  • absolute talent, ear candy, brain candy, never gets old. . . respect....respect...respect....ha ha ha ha...respect....respect.....

  • It's time to burn one!!!

  • It's time to burn one!!!

  • "a home where the parents are to busy to TEACH their children

respect." "or that it is CONFINED mostly to the

large cities, juvenile delinquency is ON THE RISE." "Adults

create the world children live IN" All the samples are from the movie "The Violent Years" Fix it. Its not right.

  • @honeyandgold Also, doesn't it say "The spirit that something is going wrong with the environment?"

"Thus parents think somethings is going...." doesn't make any sense. First time I heard Ministry 1990, I was on 2 hits of Blotter acid, smoked pot, smoked PCP, and drank a fifth. Not that the alcohol had any effect by that point, lol. Long story short, I've loved this song ever since. I was 14 then.

  • Every day

  • So fucking what? A brilliant song. The loudest band ever.

  • @iball78217

Kick the bitch out then !!!

  • To the old dead pope... So what... no miracles all marketing. Amen

  • Number one mosh pit anthem of all time...in its day...if anybody remembers what mosh pits are?

  • @veridical1 How can i forget? I was almost a victim in one at a slayer concert in 1991 on LI lol

  • @veridical i was in the mosh pit at a ministry concert for 4 hours strait when i was 16, im 30 now. It was bad fucking ass!! I was thrashin thru that pit like crazy, sweat poring off of me. One of my best teenage memories.

  • @veridical1 yes, vaguely. :-p

  • @veridical1 Oh *I* do...

  • @veridical1

    NIN fans surely do.

  • @veridical1 dislocated my knee to this song in a Ministry pit. great memory!

  • @veridical1

Sorry.... angel of death is the all time mosh anthem, freakin everybody knows that.

  • Kill for the love of killing.....

  • Brings back alot of vicious memories. Forever one of my favorites.

  • @LivinWorstNightmare

  • This song is the shit, was just playing it on the way home. Had to give it another go.
