  • You get what you pay for. Its not perfect... but for a grand it ain't bad either. Thanks for the test shoot.

  • too much head room? in some of the shots the head was chop off..

  • I have a Flycam 6000 and it su*** out of the box

you have to remake the hole rig to make it work, new springs and wire to the arm, Remake the Gimbal, new yoke, remake the vest etc. to make it fly. I have done all that and now it flies like a dream, sooo smooth.

  • Nice Hardware but bad Video Quality

  • I work with video and I think he did a great job. Dont be a jerk dude...

  • He not set the rig up correctly ,there far to much swaying from left to right.

  • shouldn't you be talking about the Flycam?

  • there is a round cut-off area on the right side. bad operator. he should take a super wide angel.....sry, but not a good commercial for the steadycam.

  • the round cut-off area... as you put it.. is called vignetting.. its something that the camera will capture if you use a super wide angle lens. it captures the round edges of the lens itself. correct me if i'm wrong. =)

  • thats correct it is called vignetting...it will also occur with telephoto lenses. can sometimes get rid of it by buying larger MM lenses and use a step up ring

....the step up rings themselves can also cause vignestting though in some cases.

it's alot of trial and error......can always be solved by zooming past the vignetting point....of course that sometimes renders your zoomout capability usless.....thats what trucks and carts are made for...can;t move the zoom on the lens?..move the camera.

  • by the way....thought there was some really nice flycam work

  • i'm not much of a videographer, but more into photography. Yes step up rings and hoods may be the cause of it, cause lenses which are precision made shoudln't have such problems.

Although, its a cool effect for portrait framing. =)

  • cool

  • What camera and lens setup is this guy using? A good shots of the camera are at :14 and :19

    Anybody have the specs?

  • Looks like an JVC GY-HD200 with 35mm DoF Adapter.

    Regards

  • can anyone tell me what song its the second one?

  • This is Lions Park in Tallebudgera Valley! Haha, what a coincidence, I live about 2minutes walk from here.

  • How can I attach an LCD monitor screen to the steadicam?

  • The guy had to spend $300 more to build up the top stage. Course a 20 pound camera is a bit much for that sled.

  • To much headroom in most of the shots. And i still see shaking in the running shots. Topstage again? The shots are wide, try to walk in closeup, ( zoom lens in ) and you will see the shaking even more

  • thanks for advice.

  • @jobschol

I love it when the 'experts' gives comments and 'meaningful' advices.

    Let's see what you've got.

  • @TACTIC0MP

More then enough dude, more then enough.

  • @jobschol I dont see any problems with the head room

  • @sunwukong86

That tells me enough about you i am affraid

  • Is that a brevis flip on the cam?

  • yes

  • Is that a brevis flip on the cam?

  • This is the best video yet using these India flycams.

Hardly any swinging like you see in so many of these videos. Thats a lot of camera.

Would like more info from this gentleman.
