u have to adjust carb to change from petrol to methanol I guess as u need about 4x more methanol to air ratio than petrol I believe.

A simple 2 speed transmission would be good, a servo could switch between direct drive or 1 st reduction.

i use 2.4ghz spectrum, and it does interfere with the "halls effect" electronic igntion..

That's a shame. So basically, it's just the radio system holding the project up? I'm not clear on the ignition system, but can that be changed to something that won't affect the radio system? there are a lot of battery powered ignitions for large rc airplanes. It just seems a waste to shelve something so majestic as what you've created.

I've subscribed. Have you seen rcWizzard channel? Maybe he could offer some ideas.
