This song was the A-side on Elmor 304 released in 1962.The B-side was "Nobody But You".From the records that I have posted, by The Petites,I'm sure that there was more then one group as they don't sound quite the same,but they may have just had a change of lead singers.You say that they were from New York,and I have one record by this group name out of Fort Worth Texas.Who knows.Still a great song you put up.Thanks
Sounds like you have this group pegged much better than I could. Thanks for that info on them. The cd compilation I had, stated only the year of release and where the group was from. Given that the cd would only supply such sparse info, they could also have been wrong about the fact they were from New York. Who knows, but I'm glad we can help by giving additional info and sharing what we know. Thanks again.
