im sorry, but i dont think that the bubinga kit sounds that great. I would get a b/b any day over this kit. Its way to dampened, and there is no real tone in the toms. Even for metal this kit really isnt a good choice, just my opinion.
@adamlutton Birch/Bubinga is a good choice as well, but bubinga has way more attack and low end than a birch/bubinga, both are very necessary for metal.
dude there's a million other metal drummers out there just like you and much better, why not try playing something different. this is what i dont get about musicians today, everyone wants to do the same thing. suck it.
nice drumming, nice kit. just wondering, why set up a mostly right-handed set when you seem to be a lefty? it makes for a really unique visual though, keep it up.
can anyone reccomend me a click track to buy like a nice one that very well improves your drumming and time keeping and what not i play too much to an ipod and stuff so i wana step up my drumming so anyone that could recommend one to me that would be awesome =)
ok never quite got this, but from why i could see your left handed. why set up the kit right handed.i understand it allows you to play open handed but doesent it conflict with your limb independence when you try zig and your body zags?
another amazing drum video..you should micd your drums and bulid a lil home studio get a presonus and run to nuendo or cubase and your all set=) keep up the good work...

What's cool about those bubingas is that you can still tune them really low and they sound super super clean still

...no, 100 % real Drumsound!

I'm suprised at how they really don't ring like a maple or birch kit would with no muffling.

I can decide over starclassic maple or bubinga.
John Dolmayan - SOAD - bubinga
Brann - Mastodon - Bubinga
Lars - Metallica - Maple
