I gotta say, i was under the impression that our U.S. team sucked huge balls in soccer, but after witnessing their performance in the confederation cup with the big boys im quite excited! I must admit i never liked soccer but i guess im starting to catch on to it! The MLS now has 19 teams, there will be 20 next year when Philly joins the MLS. It sure would be nice if soccer becomes HUGE here in the U.S. that way there is something to watch after basketball season and before football season :)

#1 No offense to the players who battled yesterday for the US but they are no more than a D-F team aside from Holden, Davies & Ching. Holden played well the whole game and that goal at the end just highlighted all of the work he put in for 90+.

#2 The US is building their depth and giving some lesser/younger guys a chance to get some caps and experience. This is great for the near future of our national side and will only make us stronger in the upcoming World Cup. GO USA!

Haiti made the W Cup before, actually. this a much more diffucult task than making and even wining Gold Cups, wouldn't you say? This is evident by the U.S's success in the Gold Cup and nothing more. And yes, sometimes teams get lucky, look no further than the U.S's success at F F Cup.
