Im a soldier, ive never been to afghanistan, but i know men that have.They say the same thing the taliban have off days, but they are also pretty smart the rest of the time. They watch, and they learn extremely quickly. They improvise, and they arent working with much. They have failures, but they have many successes. They arent stupid, and their tactics fit their environment.

Im a soldier, ive never been to afghanistan, but i know men that have.They say the same thing the taliban have off days, but they are also pretty smart the rest of the time. They watch, and they learn extremely quickly. They improvise, and they arent working with much. They have failures, but they have many successes. They arent stupid, and their tactics fit their environment.

@tested004 Its all good, they are clever about some things. Like mine rollers setting pressure plates 5m forward to detonate so the mine roller does nothing. They still are dangerous obviously. RIP LCpl Swanson 1st Bn 5th Marines died 11/10/2009 to an IED in the Helmand Province.
Also to put the war in perspective more service members have died in traffic and alcohol incidents since the war began then in the war. Unless you count suicides as casualties which you could make the argument for.
