Has anyone took this into consideration. Now that Jill Officer is taking a break because of her new baby, maybe Jennifer booted Cathy O off the team the year before because she knew if she lost 2 teammates in the same year her points in the WCT would get reset, much like Cheryl Bernard's did.
@TheInuyashaAddict it wasn't just the reason JJ did it, it was the WAY she did it. She totally blindsided Cathy O when they were best friends. She basically used Cathy O as a scapegoat for why their season wasn't as successful as they wanted it be, even though Cathy played well all season and Jennifer was the one who struggled. And this last season Cathy O missed out on being Team Canada at the Scott, playing in the Canada Cup, the Contintial Cup, and lots of money. That's why people hate JJ.

competitive sports are a really filled with alot of backstabbing! even though curling avoids most of that, it still is a competitive sport. im sure that MOST OTHER sports have much worse things happen then this
@TheInuyashaAddict I do see your point, I completely understand where you're coming from. I used to be a fan of Jenny, and I stood by her when other people put her down. But after what she did to Cathy O, I just find it impossible to like her. Cathy O was easily the best third in the world. To drop her from the team when you're Team Canada at the Scott, that's just shallow. Curling is very different from hockey for example. There's more sportsmanship and respect, that's just part of the game.

there could have been a good reason Cathy O got kicked off that isnt related to skill...
