@tbonesinator ok you have to measure from about the middle of the boat to the very front of the boat .going on a angle towards the front of the boat.

Cardboard is your friend, fellas! Take the boxes you have laying around and make one...improvising and making adjustments as you go. Then when you're happy, use the model as guides. Cheap and efficient. :)

@rcboatdriver1234 yes i use luan because it is so cheap and after you fiberglass it it is very strong .bossa wood just coast so much . 15 dollars of luan i can make 2 boats try that with bossa wood it is not going to happen using a weedwacker motor for your engine.

sick video, i like the boats. nice paint. i have one of my own. it runs very clean but it sucks water sometimes through the exhaust becuase i have a custom pipe on it. what should i do??

@wipersniperboys1 wow ok depends on how high your tail pipe is from the water line on the boat .if it is close to the water line on the boat add on to your tail pipe and aim it up.

@peterm8133 yes it does have a clutch. well the square shaft. ok what i do is use a grinder and make the flex cable square. all you have to do is grind it square. you just have to keep the bearings at the end of the weedwacker. see you need that to make your stuffing tube . the hard part is getting the bearings out . cut the pipe to get the bearings out .after you know how long you want to make your shaft the heat the pipe to put the bearings back in the straight part of the weedwacker shaft.

Respond to this video... if your weed wacker has a clutch you have all you need you will have to take a grinder and take your time and cut the bearings out of the end of the weedwacker . then after you cut the flexible cable you can grind the cable square. it is not hard but you will have to flare the end of the pipe tap put the bearings back end . use a lot of heat and then tap the bearings back end.

That is a good lookin boat. I am curious about the radio equipment. how you control the throttle, left right of the rudder. info would be appreciated. I am doing a little project here in my room wich looks like a oil tanker thats 2 feet long.

@brenthoser99 ok it is real easy if you know how to hook up servos it is so easy . i use bike brake cables and rods. i get the rods from the hobby shop for about 2 bucks.
