At the dawn of June 6 1944 the rangers looked up and saw the enemy shooting down at them at the top of the cliff. Soon the rangers shoot ropes up and began to climb. When one ranger fell anothor would take his place. When one rope was cut a ranger would grab anothor and climb again. They climbed shot back and held there footing. Soon one by one the rangers pulled them selves over and began to take over France. 250 came here. after 2 days of fighting only 90 survived. We will never forget them.
