  • u need to raise joystick a little up then control the speed, thing that usually help is by turning the joystick a bit right or left so u can stop the chopper from moving forward and when u get a 0 nt it's easy to land,,,,,

  • Buy X-plane.

  • I cant do it when I shut of the engines then the blades stop my chopper just plunges to the ground while spinning clockwise help please

  • You have to have forward speed, and you have to drop your collective.

  • @kyleguy298 start by having the collective down all the way before you cut the engine. you have to have it down to maintain rotor rpm.

  • flare the aircract at about 50-70 feet ALWAYS MAKE YOUR FLARE at that altitude. apply slight pitch at about 20 feet and then at about 5 feet apply more pitch to cushion the landing.

  • If the rotation stops you make a dive. I often have that.

  • Forgot how unrealistic MSFS was, there is no showing of torque whatsoever when the engine quit.

  • the speed its ok 80 knots but you could make a flair and stop before the touch you can do that but in fields.

  • dude..i dont know why but al my helicopters...when i am fling with speed .the lean to the left....if i dont correct them....why?...btw nice landing

  • better you autorotate on grass lol. ;-)

  • I am using the joystick ( av8r by Saitek) I just set botton 3 to shutoff engines, and the two throttle levers as the collective. You have to keep a heading speed, and then just kill the engine, and drop your pitch. Once you get 20-50 ft off the ground pull pitch lighty. Hope that helps

  • how do you do this in flight sim?
