The excellent US pianist Christopher Falzone is about to play this concerto on April 13, 14 and 15 (along with Respighi's "Pines of Rome") with the local orchestra in Orléans. Not the new one in Louisiana, but the old one in France, 100km south of Paris. A such rare experience is obviously worth the trip!

Also, I have one question: from 7:04 to 7:20, was Hamelin the piano shake or was he shaking the entire room? ;)

@OrangeSodaKing No, it was the entire room.

@Sword1479 My grammar was also butchered by the power of his playing...

I don't have a favorite movement, but at this moment, I'm enjoying this one the most.

The greatest and underrated piano concerto ever written.
Busoni was a genius, the most modern composer of the time and the biggest pianist of all. Marvellous piece.
