Excellent lesson. I just bought one of these in a thrift store assuming I was buying a tambourine. What a delight to do a bit of on-line research and see the versatility of this simple instrument. I lived in Lanzarote for the last 7 years and the Carnival there was pretty cool. Great percussion.
