Unlike the old classic 3 reel 1 payline machines, those new machines with shinny bonus features rarely pay on regular spins (let alone hit a jackpot) because most of the money is paid @ the bonus features.

I have had few decent wins (including handpays) on WOZ machines but I agree with you they are frustrating and takes a lot of patience and know when is the right time to cash out.

i definately know what you mean about betting small and getting huge bonuses and betting big and gettin jack diddly. its such BS. i live in milwaukee, wi and our potawatomi tribe rips ya off so badly. the only times i go is at the beginning of the month and i win HUGE and thats pretty much the only time i go is within the first 7 days of the month. its ridiculous. check out my video of my jackpot win.

that's really strange, because whenver I go at the beginning of the month, here in Pa (the Pittsburgh region) I just lose. from the 1st to the 3rd, it's a bad time to go because people spend their Social Security and retirement checks going to the casino, which is why during those 3 beginning days of the month, the casino tightens their payouts to take all our money. It's very rare that I hit during the beginning of the month, but I have at times. just not very often.

i can definitely relate to your frustrations...not playing WOZ because it is a tough game...at least for me...but other games by Konami...I see folk all the time winning 500 dollars on 45 cent bet and I can't even seem to win 10 percent of my bet waging considerably higher. Maybe you should switch to a higher denomination, that is what i am about to do.The pennies can be so frustrating at times! Oh, great compiliation...so sorry you are giving up. Hang in there!

your story about the terrible staff reminds me of the time about 3 months ago, when I fell over a chair at my casino when I was getting up from a machine. when the staff came by, they said that I was shown on camera earlier that night as intoxicated and was told to leave 2 hours earlier, when I'd just arrived there and didn't have one drop of alcohol in my system. they're like "Cameras don't lie" and I said "Well in my case, they do because I just got here and I don't drink in casinos"

by the way, someone mentioned to me a trick that sometimes works. When you're playing a machine and it's not hitting any bonuses, take out your money and wait for the machine to reset, and then put your ticket back in. sometimes the system thinks you're a new player, so sometimes you get lucky. I had 25.00 when I played mine. when I got down to 15.00, I took it out and after about 5 seconds, put the ticket back then. then my machine started hitting and I won 90.00. so sometimes that trick works.

I hear you and understand. This is my favorite Bonus and like you said both my big wins were on a .30 bet. I won $318 and $275 on .30 and nothing good on higher bets, this game will get to you after awhile. I notice the seats are always empty when before it was impossible to get on this machone.

thank you for long nice video... i normally play ruby slippers 5cent for hit and run and you are right about higher bet gets no bonus or one will bubble spin...

i never seen 4 wilds so cant imagine 5 of them together...

this is also happens with other games.. high bet creates high bonus win but you get horrible under $10

amazing video man! but i understand your frustration, this happens to be my favorite game as well, and i do agree that 9 1/2 times out of 10 you get your butt kicked on it. but i was lucky to get the five wild reels on it once with no multiplier, i tell myself thats it i'm not playing it anymore but its hard to keep away, so i just cut down on it, thanks for the video.

I feel your fustration. I've played that slot many times wagering a higher bet (anything above 80 cents) and winning squat, and then lower my bet to 60 cents and win a nice bonus (500 dollars on the Ruby Slipper Bonus). I can't explain it, I just know it works and I use that knowledge on the same slot machines at other casino's and use it to my advantage. Of course, you can't win the progessive unless you play max coin, but in this case I enjoy playing less and winning more.

and that's usually where the saying "less is more" comes into play. I'd rather hit for more playing less, rather than max betting and losing all my money in like 5 minutes. I played with 25.00 in my machine last night, playing 40 and 80 cents and won 90.00. So for me, that's 65 dollars more, so I'm happy. :)
