When you say University Degree, is that excluding a College Diploma? Because a College Diploma in Canada is worth more in Canada than it is in the US. Not because we have better education but because the cost of living here is low. On Prince Edward Island, I can rent out a nice 1 bedroom for 400 dollars. I know people who make more money with a Diploma than with a Degree. I've seen High School drop outs live comfortably here. Less of a gap between rich and poor here.

@11cooper11 actually my friend who goes to same college as me in canada, gets more government loan and bursary just because his parents have lower income. my dad didn't want to help me with school and i had to hold 2 jobs to pay for my education. My friend failed some courses and had to drop out wasting about $10k of tax payers dollars. i passed everything without a cent of help from the government or anybody else to get my degree.
