@MikaHakkinen83 I'm a Habs fan and I can tell you first hand that most montreal fans are freaking over the top passionate about hockey. They are extremely supportive of all the Montreal Canadians when they play good but when they start to slack off they don't hesitate to boo their own guys either.

It's stupid I know. Koivu wasn't producing toward the end of his time with the Canadians so I assume he lost a lot of the home town game goers respect or something. He is an amazing player though.

Saku used to try this stuff on Lindros when he was on the Lindros/Leclair/Recchi line in Philadelphia. The guy was fearless, and he'll be a star in the Hall of Fame someday.

What's with all the hate towards Saku? His time in MTL was done, but I still appreciate what he did for the Habs. Face it, when he came into the league, he got to play with Recchi and Damphousse, but after that = Rucinski, Petrov, Dagenais, Dackell, Audette, Bulis, Zednik.... His prime was mainly spent playing with guys that would've had a hard time cracking the 4th line on other teams. Koivu showed up night in/night out, and put up with a stupid press core daily. I wish him the best of luck.
