The use of the "speak and spell" was genius. To even think of using that with a jazz/hip hop track takes insane creativity. I grew up with that educational toy so to hear it with good music blew my mind, Mad props to Ali Shaheed or whomever came up with that idea.
What happened to all these sick jams like this? Where did they all go? why are they not being produced as often as they used to? Or is it that i aint looking hard enough? What do y'all think?
Oh my God! I thought I was the only one that knew about this! I asked everybody I knew about it they looked at me like I was crazy! I had this only on the Greg Osby album and it was real low and I couldn't play it at parties. I looked desperately for a 12"!!! Thanks so much for posting this!!!!
It sounds like a New York Undercover song.
