Put in the Windows Install CD , restart the computer, boot from the CD, when screen comes up, choose Install Windows..(not pressing R to repair..).. Then F8..Then choose the Windows that you have..Choose Repair.

After 45 mins or so, your comp will be back to work..good luck

You obviously don't know what you are talking about. As you can run any OS through emulation, but these days you can run every x86/x86_64 OS on Apple's new hardware natively or inside MacOS. Apple is a hardware company and they chip their products so MacOS runs on it and doesn't run on generic hardware (MacOS is the only thing that searches for the chip), not to stop people from using other hardware or software with it.

But the issue is it's only through "emulation". Emulation is generally but a shade of the performance in relation to the real thing. For example, if I'm running wine under a knoppix installation it is going to run a graphically intense application designed for DirectX pretty shitty for the most part. However on windows it will run absolutely perfect..  Granted I love my mac laptop, I just wouldn't purchase one of their desktops.

Seeing as we're all here on youtube, I doubt any of us can claim to have NEVER used a computer for non-productive purposes. For those of us who do enjoy gaming, whether that be the primary function of our PC or not, Windows is an attractive choice because of the added functionality in that area. Even if the ability to run games is the only benefit to Windows, that does not mean we're using it JUST for games. It's not like Word, Excel, ect... don't work on windows (they usually do :P).

Apple DO allow 3rd parties to create software, and with Cocoa (one of the tools used to make software) are considered to have a one up over Windows development.

It's mostly about the software and capability. Without software computers can't do anything. Can't there be a windows version of cocoa? It's not a one up on anything it's just that people make all these copy rights so that they can have it all for themselves. We could have a super OS if all the software was interchangeable and was shared. There's still more software for windows your percents don't matter because they don't make more software for macs.

The history of why MS is leader is incredibly complicated and is nowhere near down to pure quality and never has been. Vista for example is seen as an incredibly bloated OS that borrows much from it's competitors and does little to justify the price or the hardware needed to run it, yet still outsells Macs and Linux. Macs have been shown to be gaining ground though thanks to renewed marketing and interest. There are many people who don't realise there are even alternatives.

Cocoa isn't software, it's a development API for developers to make software specifically for Mac from Apple themselves. Its a one up because the development environment is generally considered better in Windows.

The percents do matter because who are they going to make software for? If people selling want to sell the most, then obviously Windows because it has the most users.

If you only do what a mac can do on a windows os system I guarantee you that you won't get any errors or the blue screen of death. Sorry for not making myself clear. On my laptop I have to unscrew one screw to get to RAM. Same for HDD. That's not the case on Macbooks. And you have to agree that Apple has a rather limited choice of supported hardware.

Macs are generally designed to be a hardware + software dependency - the two are built together, for the purposes of compatibility and probably lifespan. As far as I know it's generally less required to keep upgrading your ram and the like all the time.
