  • Has anyone got the wii dj hero turntable to work in oder to scratch with dj/music software yet? If so can anyone offer a dj hero glove script that works with the wii I would be most appreciative. Can anyone gre this working for pc? Is it possible?

  • Hi, have you got a script for that? I'm trying to control an X and Y pad using the motion sensor but it just jumps all over the place. I don't seem to be able to find any tutorials directed at just that.

  • how do you connect ableton to the controller?

  • On PC: connect the wiimote to windows using bluetooth, then use the program GlovePIE to connect the Wiimote input values (like rotation, acceleration, buttons, etc) to MIDI output signals which are internally routed to Ableton, making those MIDI signals control stuff like filters, volumes, etc.

  • @lebasson thank you very much.... that helps!

  • @walzpampe I created tutorial have a look if you inserted

Nintendo Wii Remote ( Wiimote PC ) Midi Controller For Ableton Live - Guide How To Do This▼

  • Check out WiiJ Timski, he does custom Max patches etc.

  • Now that's cool.

  • hey, not a bad midi controller. can i use it with out buying a Wi?

  • yes. You just need to buy a Wiimote and have a pc/mac with bluetooth support.

  • a another person can do it with the mouse right?

    but its cool

  • you know speaking of making money off this idea, there aren't any wireless midi controllers for musicians.. why am I talking about this on youtube...

  • That M-audio wireless keyboard has been out for a while actually.

  • Yeah... the m-audio midair

  • pretty cool....imagine playing live with that piece of equipment could be pretty decent!

  • isnt it funny that the remote is more important of a tool than the gaming system? I find that fascinating. Yeah, it can have your computer pmp out Drum-n-Bass at the flick of your wrist! finally there is an easier way.

  • I couldn't agree more. Isn't it fascinating to see how suddenly everyone is jumping on the 'physical interaction' train? It like everyone would've wanted it for ages but all it took was someone to make a tool like the wiimote. Damn, could've made a lot of money launching a thing like that a year ago :)

  • serious, and I could have told you a year ago it would have been huge but I didn't have any skrilla

  • really neat!

    unban keep it real

  • I need to buy a wiimote, dont even need the wii

  • true! As cool as the Wii is as a game platform, the range of possibilities the wiimote offers by far surpasses it.

  • unban keep it real

  • Who could disagree? :)

  • cool stuph!
