There lives are so much more important they some money. Be safe be tender be proud who you are. Great video that's fir sharing.
It's easy to Monday morning quarterback, Sometimes the fastest way out is not the way you came in. No one was seriously hurt, and that's what we strive for . Everyone Comes Home....
Love it how the guys on the roof trying to save John Wayne were wearing there SCBA's wow IC and SO way to have your head yup your four point of contact bet this is the same guy that will do roof vent naked. The guy is lucky heros trying to be John Wayne if your hear for the medals just turn in your badge now.
@slix122 Im pretty sure if Im inside a house I can tell when the enviroment is getting bad. When its time to get out. Not waiting for my alarm to go off then think of a way to get out. If he had been paying attention to his enviroment and his gauges then this could have been avoided. Starts with common sense.
Lack of situational awareness! he should have known when he was at the point of no return. Their are gauges on scbas that show you exactly how much air you have at all times......
@315chewy Not really.. Normally, the only time that you start getting out of the building is when you hear your scba alarm tone, and when you hear that tone, you have around 2-4 mins to get out, it all depends on the breathing too. So if he didn't have plans for an exit or if he couldn't exit because of a certain encounter it would explain why he tryed to get to the top of the roof..
Ventilation Success.

That why only men should be fireMEN! I could just imagine how it would have ended up if a woman tried to to pull him out.
