You really DO have the gift of comedy. I wish you would consider doing a video just being your NATURALLY,hilarious self, fight the URGE/to put in racy material, and allow me to use the video as an example on my soon to be launched website as an Example of Clean Comedy!!!Sigh------------------------Anyway, Best of the Best to you.Cheryl;BTW, this skit is hilarious and funny ,beeping out the insinuations of buying hookers or drugs. STANDS ALL BY ITSELF in Hillarity, that's just my two cents worth.
Did not mean to offend you. You are truly a funny comedien but, somehow, to get/really get clean and funny comedy one has to come to a place of no compromise. This may not be your calling yet and that is ok. You do have a gift of comedy and that's great. Tonite, I saw some Don Rickles and Tim Conway material and they are up there with the great comedians that make a person want to laugh and cry at the same time. You have the same potential with the gift you have. Best of the Best to you. Cheryl
@cwilliams177 I appreciate what you are saying and no worries, i'm not offended at all. Honestly Im not a clean comic. I'm not pornographic by any stretch of the imagination, but I represent myself onstage the same way I represent myself when Im hanging out with my friends. I dont think either approach is preferable to the other...its about being real with yourself and real with the audience. On this show I had to respect the wishes of the producer which I tried to do to the best of my ability
thought this was going to be clean comedy then you said --hookers and prostitutes--
It takes more talent to be funny with clean comedy than with the filth the majority of "comedians" put out and get automatic laughs. what a sad commentary. could have been funny without filth coming out of you mouth---how sad.
@cwilliams177 The producer said do a PG set which is what I tried to do. Many "clean" comics like Ray Romano, Brian Regan, Larry the cable guy, perform clean material with a somewhat racy slant. If the mere mention of hookers, which is an everyday facet of life in society, so offends you then perhaps standup comedy is just not for you. Nothings stopping you from reading the Bible on a Friday night.
