I'm giving you four out of five stars for the effort, though... That, and I like Steinman's Songs... You know, Bat Out Hell, Holding Out For A Hero... They were done to a turn by Meatloaf and Bonnie Tyler respectively...

THX! However, the full intent was to focus on Smallville, and that SOF was the underlying music telling the story. Here it works well as Jim Steinmans' "Wagnerian" lyrical prose conveys the message in this Rock Ballad.

I believe without Diane Lane (at 18) strutting on the stage, you'll probably tend to think more of Smallville. :)

A good example of what I was mimicking was "Nickelback Song Hero" Search that on You Tube. It has Nickelback performing "Hero" which integrates parts of the Spiderman 1 movie.

Why couldn't you have just done a Streets of Fire tribute? Intercutting the video with SOF clips would have worked better in my opinion. The song doesn't really work for Smallville.

But I did really like the scenes you chose, and as far as crossovers go, it was nicely made. I just really love SOF, and I much rather would have seen a tribute to the movie made.

Hi Smallevillebuff565. Thank you for the comment. As for Streets of Fire, I like the movie as a whole, and I would prefer sitting down and watching 1-1/2 hours or so of it as a complete movie.

As for the song, I picked it because it had a driving beat, with several hooks in lyrics. Perhaps watch it again, and tie the lyric to the scene. For example, when Impulse is running around in his cell...he was basically going "Nowhere Fast". Get it? :-)
