@BountyHunter762 , thanks for the compliment. I actually have Lex in another video "Kryptonite", but You Tube yanked it because of the song being played.
I love this! Its like the best music cutaway from a cartoon but live action. Reminds me of Scooby-Doo during the chase scenes but with Josie and the Pussycats singing. :D

great song and I wish that my pc downloaded faster....darn ACME anyway, last time I'll take advice from a cayote...jk!...like this mix w/smallville...reminds me of M V . thanks for posting. looking forward to another mix of yours with smallville footage.
I love this movie, have the soundtrack and probably listen to this song more than a person normally should...and now to have it mixed with Smallville, well lets just say I now have a new "obsession" Lol. Thank you for adding Clois towards the end, it really made me love this that much more.
i wish there were more 80's songs like these!! Jim Steinman is such a talented song writer. Huge fan. This is one of my favourite songs ever!! Meat loaf also recorded this song, but Fire Inc def did it justice!! This is Wagnerian rock...
if you thinks the video is awsom, check ot the movie,I almost blew it off back in the 80's because I didnt think much of the movie poster.Never judge a book(or movie)by its cover(or poster)
I'm giving you four out of five stars for the effort, though... That, and I like Steinman's Songs... You know, Bat Out Hell, Holding Out For A Hero... They were done to a turn by Meatloaf and Bonnie Tyler respectively...
THX! However, the full intent was to focus on Smallville, and that SOF was the underlying music telling the story. Here it works well as Jim Steinmans' "Wagnerian" lyrical prose conveys the message in this Rock Ballad.
I believe without Diane Lane (at 18) strutting on the stage, you'll probably tend to think more of Smallville. :)
A good example of what I was mimicking was "Nickelback Song Hero" Search that on You Tube. It has Nickelback performing "Hero" which integrates parts of the Spiderman 1 movie.
Why couldn't you have just done a Streets of Fire tribute? Intercutting the video with SOF clips would have worked better in my opinion. The song doesn't really work for Smallville.
But I did really like the scenes you chose, and as far as crossovers go, it was nicely made. I just really love SOF, and I much rather would have seen a tribute to the movie made.
Hi Smallevillebuff565. Thank you for the comment. As for Streets of Fire, I like the movie as a whole, and I would prefer sitting down and watching 1-1/2 hours or so of it as a complete movie.
As for the song, I picked it because it had a driving beat, with several hooks in lyrics. Perhaps watch it again, and tie the lyric to the scene. For example, when Impulse is running around in his cell...he was basically going "Nowhere Fast". Get it? :-)
Whoa! Extremely creative and what a combination! Very well done, friend!

One of my favorite songs ever! Thank you for making this!
I saw this just after I saw your "Holding Out For a Hero" video.
May I suggest videos for the following songs:
Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young (perhaps with dancing footage from "Smallville")
Faster Than the Speed of Night
Total Eclipse of the Heart
Anyway, great job!

You Naughty, Naughty YTer, you! Diane Lane did distract, although presently...
However pleasantly, though works against this effort.
Still and all, I like it.
Keep up the good work.
